What is the cosmic serpent?
Within many shamanic traditions, the Cosmic Serpent is the primordial intelligence moving through all living things.
Its movement is recognized in the spiraling growth of plants, the rhythms of the body, and the double-helix pattern found in every cell. Elders describe it as the first teacher, the force that reveals how life organizes itself, heals, and continually renews.
The Serpent often appears in visions not as a creature, but as light, vibration, or patterned motion, guiding awareness to what is ready to be released or ready to be remembered. It is considered a messenger between realms, carrying knowledge from the invisible world into human perception.
